The Pedals
A car has 3 pedals.

The clutch, the pedal furthest left

The brake, the middle pedal

The accelerator, the pedal furthest right

The Clutch
The clutch pedal manages the connection between your engine and wheels.
When turned on, the engine is continually running. Sometimes we don't want the engine to turn the wheels. Pressing the clutch down removes the connection, allowing your engine to turn, without turning your wheels.
The Brake
Pressing the brake pedal slows or stops the wheels.

The Accelerator
The accelerator pedal increases the speed that the engine is rotating.
