Cheltenham Beginner Practice Routes

Remember, anyone that accompanies you, on private practice, must be over 21 and have held a current, full driving license for at least 3 years.  Practicing with an accompanying driver without this will potentially lead to you getting fined and receiving points on both yours and your accompanying drivers license.  You will also need valid provisional insurance on your training vehicle.

Things to think about before your start your practice session:

  • What do you want to get out of your session?

  • What will you be working on?

  • How will you track your progress?

  • What driving areas would you like your accompanying driver to take responsability for?

  • What support would you like?

  • How will you manage risk around you?

Your instructor will be able to help you plan your session and give any help needed.

We're always happy to speak to your accompanying driver to support or answer any questions.
